  blank space  MULTIFAMILY OWNERS AND MANAGEMENT AGENTS: Rural Development is taking steps to assist owners, management agents, and tenants in maintaining quality housing through the COVID-19 situation. Specifically, three immediate changes are planned for Multifamily: blank space

  blank space blank space *Tenant certifications due March 31, April 30, and May 31 have been extended to June 30 with no late fees or overage charges, as allowed in Multifamily guidance (HB-3-3560, Chapter 4, Section 4.11). blank space

  blank space blank space *Late fees on RD mortgages will be waived, subject to waiver authority in 7 CFR 3560.403 (c)(3) blank space

  blank space blank space *Annual Financial Statements due March 31 will be extended 30 days, as per Multifamily guidance (HB-2-3560 Chapter 4, Section 4.16-H) blank space

  blank space blank space Overage charges on interim tenant certifications submitted late during the months of April through June 2020, will be automatically waived. Please check your project worksheets carefully. blank space
